strangeboy Posted April 15, 2021 Share #1 Posted April 15, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) At the risk of being redundant...Don at DAG Camera Repair is the best. He received my camera/lens yesterday. I'd mentioned to him that I was heading out to Joshua Tree for a photo shoot, and whatever he could do to get the camera back to me would be greatly appreciated. That Cat sent me an email this afternoon to let me know that he'd completed the CLA on my M240, and corrected the back focus on my Zeiss lens. In ONE day. Carry on.

Herr Barnack Posted April 16, 2021 Share #2 Posted April 16, 2021 (edited) Impressive! The winner of the auction for this "mint minus" M4 should send it to him for a CLA: https://www.the-saleroom.com/en-gb/auction-catalogues/flintsauction/catalogue-id-flints10037/lot-953331c3-6e56-4b25-954b-acfe013d72cd Edited April 16, 2021 by Herr Barnack 1

Good To Be Retired Posted April 24, 2021 Share #5 Posted April 24, 2021 I've used DAG several times over the last 10 years or so. On two occasions I was heading overseas and Don inquired as to my departure date. On both occasions he rushed the repair in order to get it back in time to take with me, but in both cases he had almost two weeks. Still, in my experience, two weeks is pretty good turnaround.

And that's essentially the point of my post. I was leaving town for a shoot and mentioned that to Don. He did me a solid and turned it around lightening fast.
