SL2 Kit with Sigma lenses.

I first bought a SL2 with a 24-90. After a year I added a Sigma l mount 100-400 and a 1.4TC. Recently I added a Sigma 105 f2.8 macro. I am really happy with my kit.

I have a couple Sigma L mount lenses and I must say becoming part of that L mount alliance really classed up their act.

I have no complaints about the latest Sigma L mount lenses.  Nicely made, work well, make nice images.

+1 I've become a huge fan of the Sigma L mount lenses, excellent quality in every way.

The Sigma lenses are excellent. I have 1.4/85 DG DN Art and 2.8/70 Macro DG Art, and the 100-400 and 45mm in the Contemporary line. The 70mm is really razor sharp and is supposedly on level with the new 2.8/105 Macro. Amazing value for money as well.

I’m not using an SL2 but a TL2 and finding that there is a lot to love about the sigmas. I’ve got the;

45 f2.8

85 f1.4

105 f2.8 macro 

Their rendering is lovely although not up to the standards (or weight and price) of the SL primes.

The sigma 24 f3.5 is next on my wish list.
