Michael, would it be possible for me to 'borrow' that image of a cat on occasion to post in other fora and to illustrate the worth of this lens ?

and in any event, is there an EXIF available from it

cheers

Hi Rob, you are welcome to use the image of the cat to illustrate the value of this nice Summilux lens. I think you just right-click on the image to save it. If you have any problems I can email you the original. :)

In terms of EXIF data camera:Leica Digilux-3, exposure time:1/250sec,f-stop: f/1.4, ISO speed:100, exposure prg: Aperture priority, focal length:25mm, metering mode:spot, flash:did not fire, suppressed.

Regards, Michael

This lens makes me very happy--I've missed the ability to work with very shallow DOF. I know there have been several flower photos in this thread already, but here's one from a few days ago, shot in the tiny (and rather dark) courtyard of a Paris hotel.

Nice shots. Has anyone that has both Leica D lenses taken test shots, both at 25mm (50) to compare the glass? I'd love to see some,as I'm sure would others. Here's my first shots with my D3 & Vaio-Elmart 14-50. Both hand held & maual focus in low light. Ben
