CptSlevin Posted March 24, 2021 Share #1 Posted March 24, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello! I have an issue with my Voigtländer Color Heliar 75/2.5 which is M39 lens mount. So in the bright sun live view turns off, as I understood from the previous posts, it's due to faulty adapters, as they have ??cutout?? which leaks light to the sensor. But I have two adapters, one of them is the original Voigtländer and I still have an issue. Can anyone suggest an adapter which allows me to use LV? Thank you! Welcome, dear visitor! lucerne Posted March 24, 2021 Share #2 Posted March 24, 2021 (edited) Your problem arises because the lens identification device on the perimeter of your lens mount is exposed. Its not a faulty adaptor, its the wrong adaptor ! there are rare adaptors circulating which do not have a full cutout, and some with reduced area of cutout. I use the latter type successfully for my Summaron 35, 3.5. Also, until you get the right device, you can switch off lens detection in your menu. the device below permanently covers the detection sensors and also allows coding of the lens.
