Radost Posted March 23, 2021 Share #1  Posted March 23, 2021 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, Just purchased a minolta CLE from ebay. It seams the shutter speed is inconsistent. 8 is longer than 4 2 and 1. Is there a good way to check the shutter speed consistency and timings without sending it to a tech? I always taught electronic shutters are more precise. P.S. I have access to 120fps dslr. is there a formula I can use filming the shutter in 120fps? Charles Morgan Posted March 24, 2021 Share #3  Posted March 24, 2021 (edited) When I was selling a camera the eventual buyer asked about the shutter speeds. As I had no means of measuring them he suggested an app called Shutter Speed which measures the sound of the shutter (it also has the facility to measure the light coming through but you need a gizmo to do that). I just shot a test roll of Foma 200. Personally I find anything wrong on a camera etc bought from Ebay I just return it. Edited March 24, 2021 by Charles Morgan
