benqui Posted March 21, 2021 Share #2 Posted March 21, 2021 Your other version is much better. The look of the model, her pose, your composition, everything looks really good. But I do not like the bright background exactly behind her face. To me it makes it difficult to concentrate on her face and the left part of her face merges (I hope this is the right word) more or less with the bright background. Hope not to bother you (and for sure not your beautiful model) 2

I may be able to darken the white patch a little more to salvage. *merges works*
werner__ Posted March 23, 2021 Share #4 Posted March 23, 2021 It`s for me not esy to say, which picture is the better one, because they are so different for the first impression. And therefore I say, the two pictures are beautyful
fotografr Posted March 24, 2021 Share #5 Posted March 24, 2021 I agree that the background is problematic. It's distracting and defeats the separation between her face and what's behind. I also don't much like the out of focus arm that appears to plunge from her chin to the bottom of the frame. Otherwise, I like the angle and her expression. 1
dkmoore Posted March 27, 2021 Author Share #6 Posted March 27, 2021 All good feedback, I appreciate everyone taking the time to comment. I have quite a few others that I like a lot more but I did like the softness to this image.

I quite like the softness of the bokeh from the Apo-Summicron-M 1:2/50 ASPH.
