Or.... the 24, 65 and 105? I wish Leica would make some f28 primes. Or maybe the SL 35 and 75 Summicrons and a 45 for something light weight? I keep reading comments about the 45 being soft, and that bothers me.

Take a look Here to get a great understanding of what this lens is all about. IMO, only Fred Miranda has taken the time to explore, compare and understand this lens. Too many other ' reviewers' have not gone to the trouble and have simply dismissed a wonderful lens for being 'unsharp'. I can make some samples of the 45 to the 50SL if you like. I have 50M 0.95, 50APO SL and the SIGMA 45. if you want the camera to walk around the lighter lenses make sense. I like the 50 focal but if I narrow it down my favorite L lenses are 35 and 75. If you going for a macro lens I would get the 105 Sigma. it is a lens designed for L mount, and all around good performer , the 70MM is an older lens adapted to L system.

I also have the Leica 60mm TL macro lens.. its APS-C and can be had for under $2K used..  smaller and much lighter than Sigma but not full frame
