Hi there, 

     I still use my Leica SL (the original one), kindly want to know your opinion about these cameras.

which one is better for you and it's worth to upgrade from the original one? (Rendering, Sharpness, and character) 

     I always take landscape (sometimes), portrait and candid. 

    PS. I only use M-Mount lenses because of its size and weight.

There are a lot of threads here with info on these cameras. 

Rendering, character and sharpness are going to be up to the lenses you shoot. There is also the increase in resolution with the SL2, which you should test before buying to see if it is meaningful to you with the lenses you shoot and your viewing size.
