Advertisement Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 Hi andybarton, Take a look here Virginia Woolf. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
biglouis Posted August 13, 2006 Share #2 Posted August 13, 2006 Andy Lovely photograph, excellently composed and exposed. I'd be tempted to try and clone out the lone person on the beach if that were at all possible. LouisB
andybarton Posted August 13, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted August 13, 2006 That's no lone person, that's my wife... Boom, boom.
cboudier Posted August 13, 2006 Share #4 Posted August 13, 2006 Andy, This photo is my favorite of the 3. You may remove some sky (1/2) to make it even better IMHO
pleeson Posted August 13, 2006 Share #5 Posted August 13, 2006 I'm not afraid... to say that I like it as posted. Another great shot...
leicamann Posted August 13, 2006 Share #6 Posted August 13, 2006 Hmm..doesn't quite make it..I think the XP2 grain is so bizzare that in this shot I find it detracting. And it is important...n'est pas? Thanks for sharing regards Lei Ka Mann
andybarton Posted August 13, 2006 Author Share #7 Posted August 13, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks for the comments, guys. The grain's not that bad on this one. Worse on some others on the roll, though.
stuny Posted August 13, 2006 Share #8 Posted August 13, 2006 Andy - Very nice composition and detail, and I like including your wife in the shot. It's also an interesting break from your featuring lighthouses in your lighthouse shots. I too wonder if it would be stronger still with less sky.
