colonel Posted March 4, 2021 Share #1 Β Posted March 4, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) There are a great many reviews on these lenses. Also many people here have posted there thoughts and samples. They are both great lenses and I think I understand the profile,i.e.: The f1.2 is only slightly soft wide open, with some vignetting, but pretty sharp and contrasty from f2 in the central. The edges sharpen up later. the f2 is flat field across the range and the edges are sharp and contrasty from f2. there is some vignetting wide open and a pinch more contrast from f2.8 there are differences in colours, bokeh, etc. but assume they are not a decider I have not seen a direct comparison. It would be great to see pictures across the aperture range from both So the question is, for those that either have both or have used both and chosen one, which one spends the most time on your camera and why ? Cheers!
Advertisement Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 Hi colonel, Take a look here Who can make me decide between the Voigt 50mm 1.2 and f2 APO ?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
tom0511 Posted March 4, 2021 Share #2 Β Posted March 4, 2021 I only have the 2.0 APO and love it. Size would be also a reason besides other factors.
