I really recognize myself in what you say. I often wish I lived somewhere else, or at least had the opportunity to travel a lot to new, exciting places to photograph.

I mainly have two models: my daughter and our cat. 😉

I know exactly what you mean. We have a year of change ahead as a family which will no doubt lead to fresh opportunities, they may not better but they will be new! I do find the restriction quite difficult at times, which I think has lead to me experimenting more and trying to find interesting things to photograph. Inadvertently I also think it has helped with slowing me down and focusing on little details.

Your beautiful daughter must be the most photographed in Norway!

That may well be the case. She has been photographed ever since she was born. 😄

Zone focused at f1.4 and got lucky with one of the pigeons being in focus.

wide open it's a very small zone that's sharp, so his side whiskers are perfect focus while face is a little soft. No one said it would be easy putting that narrow focus exactly where you want it using a rangefinder on a moving subject :)

I'm hoping the new M11V implements EVF/LCD manual focus as well as the Q3 - I'll be in heaven.

I'm surprised how sharp this lens is wide open, albeit sharp only in a very narrow zone with immediate and gorgeous fall off which is why I love it. I think this lens shot wide open creates the best 3D pop of all my lenses.
