M10, 50mm Summilux v3

Oh I love these colors 🙌

These are the moments when I wonder if an M10 can actually produce even more beautiful colors than the M240P.

Seriously though, how much did you tweak in post? This shot really makes me want to try a M10 😄—and even more so, to take advantage of today’s sunshine in Berlin and head out with the M. Hopefully, the sun sticks around until the afternoon...

Thank you! Here I have simply used the Adobe Landscape profile, Auto Tone and WB As Shot. 🙈 I never use Auto settings on portraits, but sometimes I do on landscapes.

Would you mind sharing the original shot as well?

Sure. I always expose manually, to preserve the highlights. I probably should have stopped down a bit more, but it's sharp enough also at f/2.8.

That's exactly what I thought: The colors are already beautiful in the original shot.
And the f/2.8 sharpness looks absolutely sufficient to me.

Thanks for sharing! :)

Yes, the original colors are unchanged, just a little boosted in the Adobe Landscape profile. I could have stopped down a bit more for increased depth of field, but I think the overall sharpness is good enough at f/2.8.

V3 ?

Yes, it’s the Leica 50mm f/1.4 Summilux Pre-ASPH v3. Here are a couple of shots converted to black and white:

Just so there's no doubt: The new reissue/reinterpretation of the pre/post/non ASPH/spherical 50mm Summilux-M (whatever you call it 😉) is also welcome in the thread.

I look forward to being able to compare images with the older versions.
