Just about the harshest background to deal with. Lots of bare branches and twigs etc. Wide open.

Nice. I really like this. What RNI profile is it?

@evikne RNI Delta 400. You sold me on them. I think they should give you a commission!

Did you buy them? Congrats! They are pretty expensive, but there are lots of nice and useful profiles in the package.

I had the RNI app downloaded on my IPad already but only the demo version which gave me just a handful of profiles. I just paid a small amount to activate all the profiles, including Delta 400. I’m assuming the desktop version is the same but possibly not.

I only know the desktop version, and that there is a Lite and Pro version. Both contains the Delta 400 profile. The Lite version has around 40 profiles, while the Pro has around 180. I mostly use the B&W profiles now, and usually just the Adobe Standard or Adobe Color profile for color images.

Thank you, I think they must differ as they were only a few pounds for the year on the IPad app. There are definitely more than 40 options though. I’ll play around with them and post a few pics on here. I also use Adobe standard for colour. I usually prefer the slightly lower contrast it gives as a starting point.

In the beginning, of course, it's fun to play around with all the different color profiles. But I've noticed that in the long run you can get a bit bored with them. Now I tend to use them mostly if an image is ruined by lighting conditions etc. and can't be saved in any other way. But the Adobe Standard is a neutral profile that you never get tired of.

I also start with RNI presets. These were Ilford Delta 100

I think I’m bored of the colour ones already🤣 I prefer my own starting point for colour. The B&Ws are nice though to get you going on certain shots.  This is another one with Ilford 400.

a stranger, Mr Grumpy

I had an aha moment (actually a duh moment) with my visoflex 2. I walked around with the visoflex tilted up, looking into it face down, and people I shot never suspected I was snapping their pics :)
