erniethemilk Posted February 22, 2021 Share #21  Posted February 22, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) I’m wondering how easy it would be to use the film advance lever with that thumb grip attached.  I find the thumb grip handy on the M10-P but wouldn’t even think to use one on my M6. I think weight is a factor with the M10-P. The dimensions to the M6 are very similar, but the weight and balance feels quite different.

Works better in theory seems the replies suggest.

nicci78 Posted February 23, 2021 Share #24  Posted February 23, 2021 Film advance lever are the best thumbs up. No need to add another one. It would get into the way. Every digital M should have one build in. Just like the awesome M10-D.

johntobias Posted March 5, 2021 Share #26 Â Posted March 5, 2021 just a wee note...the Barnett Thumbie is a better solution as much more discrete and no strain on hotshoe....personally I used one on an M240 to cover for the lack of film advance lever but on my MP...no need for anything, film lever does what it needs to!
