geotrupede Posted February 18, 2021 Share #1  Posted February 18, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, is there a way to change the function of the wheels during Manual focus so that they are not controlling magnification for the live view but ALWAYS the shutter speed? both? I am asking as I preferred the original SL behaviour where you would use the same wheel to adjust shutter speed regardless the magnification of the view. I have tried all way and it seems one cannot? Secondly, is there a way to have the Log settings for video in the favourites or in a custom button? The setting is nested within a millions of other things and of course one can learn the route, but is there any option for a shortcut for the lazy mind? in general the settings allow a lot of customisation, but not a complete one... geotrupede Posted February 19, 2021 Author Share #3 Â Posted February 19, 2021 precisely as you show, is it possible to remove the magnification and add something else instead?
Photoworks Posted February 20, 2021 Share #4 Â Posted February 20, 2021 well what you aspecting does not make to much sense . If you have a manual lens there is no other way to change the magnification.\ I think Leica designers did think this true
geotrupede Posted February 20, 2021 Author Share #5 Â Posted February 20, 2021 if I have a manual lens like with the SL I am happy to see the most aggressive magnification straight away, it did work well for me. I really never wanter to zoom in/out. now I have zoom in /out instead of shutter speed... anyway, since everything is so customisable it could have been nice to allow total custom feels like they did 75% and got bored G> Â
