Advertisement Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 Hi gerd01, Take a look here Oldtimer Grand Prix 2006 Nürburgring. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Gruss, Gerd
uulrich Posted August 14, 2006 Share #5 Posted August 14, 2006 Hi Gerd; Ich meine das in meiner Anlage mit (a) bezeichnete weisse Rechteck. Was koennte es sein? Welcome, dear visitor! elansprint72 Posted August 14, 2006 Share #7 Posted August 14, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Gerd, Dinos: brilliant! Love the Elan leading the 911 too (for obvious reasons). I'll be at the OGP next year, if I can persuade my Elan to get me there. Cheers, Pete.
uulrich Posted August 14, 2006 Share #8 Posted August 14, 2006 Hi Pete; great to see you here. :-) Love the Elan leading the 911 too (for obvious reasons). You missed the 911 is one round ahead. :-)

Guest agnoo Posted August 15, 2006 Share #10 Posted August 15, 2006 Pete, sorry to say that, but it´s too obvious, that the 911 had to brake, because of the slow Elan or how else should i judge the brake-lights of the Porsche? :D
abrewer Posted August 16, 2006 Share #11 Posted August 16, 2006 LOL! Poor Pete! No refuge anywhere, it seems!!! Wonderful shots, Ron. The Dino's image is incredibly creative and well-executed. Guest agnoo Posted August 16, 2006 Share #12 Posted August 16, 2006 Allan, THESE shots are NOT mine !!!! They are from Gerd Appel. abrewer Posted August 16, 2006 Share #13 Posted August 16, 2006 Oh my gosh! I am so, so sorry Dr. Gerd! Please accept my apologies. Thanks for pointing out the mistake to me Ron! elansprint72 Posted August 16, 2006 Share #14 Posted August 16, 2006 OK...... the lumbering, heavy, 911 has to brake to go round the corner, can't go too fast in the rain, can they, tend to swop ends? So the light, nimble, Elan passes without braking and shoots away: simple. Never driven a Lotus, Ron? Pete

elansprint72 Posted August 16, 2006 Share #17 Posted August 16, 2006 I know DKW, they used to race in UK! "Position after 4 of 6 runs" does that say? Apologies my German language is almost zero. Pete.
Guest agnoo Posted August 16, 2006 Share #18 Posted August 16, 2006 Yes, Pete, your German is good! I was extremely surprised, how good these small devils can run.
elansprint72 Posted August 16, 2006 Share #19 Posted August 16, 2006 Ron, could you please translate my appreciation of Gerd's Dino shot into German and ask him to post it on the International forum? I think we, "over there", miss out on so many great photos, maybe because of language problems. Regards, Pete.
