Alberti Posted August 28, 2007 Share #21 Posted August 28, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've been using the Sandisk extreme III 2GB cards and no problems at all. Gene I have had no trouble with the Extreme III 2Gb card, using Firmware 1.092. Fast, reliable. Just returned from a weekend Paris, had 570 images in the card. Nice I didn't need a PC with me! Alberti Posted August 28, 2007 Share #23 Posted August 28, 2007 Hm, I could squeeze in only about 180 files on a 2GB card. Are you shooting JPG? Yes, I did, actually because of a weekend out and no time left to do PP. Though this means I have had to resort to bracketing, manual color settings and selecting B/W in difficult plavces like some musea with terrible lighting. Mostly I shoot DNG+JPEG Fine, leaving me even less pictures forcing me to use a 2GB at least. Direct-JPEG is not as good in some details but still very excellent.
