gman Posted August 23, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted August 23, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Is anyone here using an Eizo monitor for their digital output? I'm beginning to look into a bigger monitor for my Mac and wanted to know if anyone could give any opinions about Eizo. Â Thanks. Â Â jeff

ddp Posted August 23, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted August 23, 2007 Yes - Eizo CE240W. Excellent, use it alongside 2 Sony Artisans.
ejcaliguri@comcast.net Posted August 23, 2007 Share #3 Â Posted August 23, 2007 The Eizo CG24W is simply the BEST monitor for graphic work - period - (in my opinion) beating out the Lacie monitors. They are used at many of the places I consult for, and I cannot wait to add them to my system. When I comment on them, I am always told that they would use no other. Â I use dual Apple Cinema displays now, but hope to switch within the next 6 months. Eizo is very expensive, but as with Leica, you get what you pay for! Â Their website http://www.eizo.com is loaded with info; they even have a Micro Site devoted to the CG. Â Can't wait to get the funds together to make the switch! ericperlberg Posted August 24, 2007 Share #6 Â Posted August 24, 2007 Eizo cg 210. Excellent monitor. I'd buy one again without hesitation (or whatever the successor model is).

ericperlberg Posted August 24, 2007 Share #8 Â Posted August 24, 2007 Jeff, aside from these brief positive gushes about Eizo, was there anything specific you wanted to know?
wda Posted August 24, 2007 Share #9 Â Posted August 24, 2007 I am delighted with my CE210W for image processing and an HP mx70 for databases etc. The joy of the Eizo is the inbuilt calibration software. Â David
gman Posted August 27, 2007 Author Share #10 Â Posted August 27, 2007 Jeff, aside from these brief positive gushes about Eizo, was there anything specific you wanted to know? Â Really just interested in knowing if all the positive reviews I've seen, as well as the recent European award the CG211 received translated to real-world usage by people on the forum. I think first hand testimonials are pretty helpful and indicative of a product's true performance. Â Thanks everyone for the responses!
