Not so long ago, I was lucky to get a cabin in the park itself. My plan was to go half-way on Angels Landing trail and turn back. Ended up doing the full trail, thanks to a couple of hikers I met on the way who encouraged me to carry on and finish the hike. Leica R 28-90 on Sony A7RII.

In a way you could say that. Personally, I found mid-way the most impressive where the "real" climb starts and it is also the point where there is a warning sign of previous fatalities. But the views of the valley below are spectacular from the top too. As an aside, the top of Observation Point is in a different league itself though.

Nice shot. I froze up (acrophobia) and didn't make it all the way up when I was in Zion several years ago. It is spectacular! I got a shot of the top of Angel's Landing from another higher vantage point, which sort of soothed my bruised ego.
