ravinj Posted January 10, 2021 Share #1 Posted January 10, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Not so long ago, I was lucky to get a cabin in the park itself. My plan was to go half-way on Angels Landing trail and turn back. Ended up doing the full trail, thanks to a couple of hikers I met on the way who encouraged me to carry on and finish the hike. Gelatino Posted January 14, 2021 Share #5 Posted January 14, 2021 Ravinj, Would you agree with me if I say It is more impressive before than after climbing to the terrace?
ravinj Posted January 15, 2021 Author Share #6 Posted January 15, 2021 (edited) In a way you could say that. Personally, I found mid-way the most impressive where the "real" climb starts and it is also the point where there is a warning sign of previous fatalities. But the views of the valley below are spectacular from the top too. As an aside, the top of Observation Point is in a different league itself though. spydrxx Posted January 31, 2021 Share #8 Posted January 31, 2021 Nice shot. I froze up (acrophobia) and didn't make it all the way up when I was in Zion several years ago. It is spectacular! I got a shot of the top of Angel's Landing from another higher vantage point, which sort of soothed my bruised ego.
