I dropped my Leica T today. Not fun, but the good thing is it's got a few scratches, and everything works fine - except the Mount has partially separated from the body.

I've enclosed an image of the issue. Has anyone experienced this? I'm in canada so I'm having trouble finding a repair shop.

Yeah, the last couple of T’s I’ve found for sale were $450 for entire in-the-box cameras almost like-new. The repair for that is probably well north of 2-3x that number at least.

it’s almost certainly fixable. Whether worth it or not is the question.

In the photo you show, I have no idea what the problem was.

If it were mine, I'd send it off to be converted to IR and have them screw the mount back while it's in bits. Failing that some very strong metal glue would be fun too. Either way, you have to buy another camera.

Yes it’s the front mount separated 60%.  I have ordered some super glu foe metal, and a snap case. If they fails, where do I get the IR conversion?

I'm in the UK so I would send it to Advanced Camera Services in Norfolk, I guess you could do that, I'm sure there must be one in Canada.

I would do it the other way around though, if you have no other choice then the liquid metal comes out
