The federal government owns the land it's on, having declared the 10,000 acre area a National Historic site, with all the 'homes' & structures privately owned - with only one gravel road for access and no running water. Not quite Bodie..............but it'll have to do. SL / 24-90 V.E. Note: Allow me to remind you of a new feature that was enabled some time ago on this forum, but which I don't think is used very widely, whereby one can click on the image to enlarge it to 'full screen' viewing, greatly improving image quality in all parameters - it really helps in viewing images much closer to the high-res format in which they originated.
