Goriup Posted January 6, 2021 Share #1 Posted January 6, 2021 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Interesting little spot, not quite an entirely abondoned ghost town, extremely remote, with a small hard-core group of diehards remaining..................located in the southwest corner of the state, near the Oregon border. at about 6200' above sealevel. The federal government owns the land it's on, having declared the 10,000 acre area a National Historic site, with all the 'homes' & structures privately owned - with only one gravel road for access and no running water. Not quite Bodie..............but it'll have to do. SL / 24-90 V.E. Note: Allow me to remind you of a new feature that was enabled some time ago on this forum, but which I don't think is used very widely, whereby one can click on the image to enlarge it to 'full screen' viewing, greatly improving image quality in all parameters - it really helps in viewing images much closer to the high-res format in which they originated.
