Advertisement Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Hi Alan Friedman, Take a look here Sigma FP as a stills camera, is it good?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
agfa100 Posted March 15, 2021 Share #22 Posted March 15, 2021 (edited) Well I have had my fp for just a week now so I am still at the play stage, I have two of the 7 artisans Leica m to L adp. one normal and one with the close focus they fit and work fine. Yes I will be getting a VF as in bright light outside you cannot focus with the rear lcd. I used a RX-1 without a viewfinder for two years, yes I know it's autofocus but it was doable. As far as Leica M wides it works fine with my Ver1 35 summicron, ok with my Ver2 28 Elimarit and I think I can get away with my 21 f 4.0 Voit. stopped down to f 8.0 hey it's paid for a long time ago. Plus I just got my MC-21 sigma to L mt. adp. as I have a 15mm, 20mm, 50 macro and 105 macro for manual focus. I want to play with video but that is down the way a bit. Yes, I have a a7s that I have been using with my M lenses for the past 4 years and the Sigma is much better with the 28 and the 21, that's it so far.
