eraydinc Posted December 20, 2020 Share #1 Posted December 20, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello Leica Lovers. I couldn't find maximum exposure time selection in automatic mode? Because Dlux 7 always try 1/60 or 1/30 in automatic mode when my friend try to catch me in some events and some occasions and the result is blurred. My personal solution is when I give the machine to an amateur friend, S Mode, I made Auto aperture, auto ISO, shutter 1/125 but I need logical automatic mode

wda Posted December 20, 2020 Share #2 Posted December 20, 2020 Explore and master Manual mode. You can set that up for a friend to take a shot of you. Face recognition simplifies focus.
elgenper Posted December 20, 2020 Share #3 Posted December 20, 2020 (edited) If I understand you correctly, you want a mode that is "as automatic as possible" while assuring a fast enough shutter time to avoid blur from subject movement and camera shake. Well, that´s what you´ll get if you select auto ISO AND auto aperture, but manually select a shutter speed high enough for the situation facing you. That´s how I shoot my DL7 almost all the time.
