sebastianruehl Posted December 17, 2020 Share #1  Posted December 17, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello everyone, the Leica SL became my all time favorite body. I got the SL 24-90 and it's an incredible combo. Planning a holiday with my wife, kids and dog I'm limited on equipment and weight. Does the combo: SL2 - APSC Mode - Sigma SA-L- Sigma 18-300 C work? 20.2MP is still plenty and I do not really need AF-C mode. I know it's not what the SL2 is built for and it's more of an emergency setup for traveling with limited space but still being able to bring my SL2.  Thanks for reading and your time in advance.  BR Sebastian

caissa Posted December 17, 2020 Share #2 Â Posted December 17, 2020 (edited) You will need an MC-21 adapter, it is not available in L-mount. It will work because the lens is on the list of supported lenses. Still I would rather take a 20-60mm native zoom for travel. But if you think you need 300mm (450 mm equivalent) .... https://www.sigmaphoto.com/article/sigma-mount-converter-mc-21 Edited December 17, 2020 by caissa
