canlogic Posted August 22, 2007 Share #1 Posted August 22, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I noticed when I tried useing my new CV15 with Milich adapter that the lens doesn't seem to be coupled to the rangefinder. If I aim the camera at a straight verticle line say 3 to 4 feet away turning the focusing ring from one extreme to the other makes no difference in the focus window. Is this normal, do you focus by guesstimate or is it the lens or adapter problem?
Advertisement Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 Hi canlogic, Take a look here CV 15 focusing question. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
TEBnewyork Posted August 22, 2007 Share #2 Posted August 22, 2007 Correct. It isn't coupled. Need to use the scale but the DOF is so huge I think you can only mess up at close range.

Thats what I thought. Even at 5.6 almost everything from my toes out was in focus.
guidomo Posted August 22, 2007 Share #4 Posted August 22, 2007 Someone here called it the point-and-shot lens for the M8. Pretty spot-on I think.
