115 Year old Oak Tree transplanted further up the rail corridor recently. They cut down several other magnificent (huge) Elm and Australian native trees however. All in order to build a new Station some 500 meters from the existing one.

I strongly suspect that tree is much more than 115 years old.  In Reading, Berkshire, UK we have a 'Verdun Oak', which grew from an acorn from Verdun collected after the awful battle of the First World War.  I can just about get my arms around the trunk, and it is about 100 years old.  My guess is your magnificent tree is over 300 years old judging by the width of the trunk.
