Took out the SL2-S to see how it was with M lenses and black and white conversions.. with the right light, very impressed with b&w conversion.

Leica SL2-S. Elmar 24mm 3.8. Missed a bit of focus with this one but was moving quickly.

I agree, I use the exact same combo often and have found it gives me great output. I prefer using the 24mm Elmar on my sl2s than on my m10r. B&W example below

@Ken Abrahams, I’m very much enjoying your train series.  Excellent shots and I assume a fair amount of planning and preparation involved!

Yes KK, thanks for the comment. Local night trains are coordinated between myself and friend. We both got Leicas and interested in trains in various ways. Organising shoots early AM is hard for old blokes but we get out there and find different locations etc. The image above was taken a few hundred K's in the country. A place called Baandee with population of 12. Were camp over night and wake up when roaring freight trains go past. Well, I was out for the count so only managed a few trains that night. Packing and preparing a small outing is just like preparing for a big drive and takes a lot of planing

Best

Ken
