SL2 criticism - any workarounds?

I played with the SL2 more and see that the wheel can adjust magnification settings after you push the magnification button. Somehow I missed that.

once you bring in the DNG in LR the colors become an interpretation on adobe, not Leica. You will need a cameraRaw update that supports SL2

Look ... it's the camera. This is visible on the camera's LCD screen on the back ... before the SD card even left the camera.

Look if it’s new I’ld return it and get your money back!  
Don’t wait until you get this error every day at 3/4 full battery with Leica glass! Or worse experience the complete failure at 4 months usage like others have gotten. These cameras turned out to be POS!

There is a workaround. But some are so bitter that they prefer to spread this bitterness over the whole forum instead of using the workaround.

I can “understand” it, still I find it not the appropriate way to handle it.
