Image defect

Just got an SL2. Using version 2.0 firmware and a SandDisk Extreme 128 GB, 300 MB/s card.  Shot an image with the defect shown (just showing the part of the image with the defect).  I rented an SL2 before and noticed this with a Sony 128GB 300 MB/s card (not a "tough" card) but that card seemed to be problematic in other cameras too.

Does anyone know if the SandDisk Extreme 128 GB, 300 MB/s card is incompatible with the SL2 and newest firmware?  Thanks.

I would try to reformat the card in the computer using SD  Formatter first.

+1 for SD Formatter. I've had similar issues with various SD cards on the SL2 & CL, this has sorted them out.

Thanks guys. Will give it a try.  Do you use "quick" or "full" format option?

 

Also, after you format in computer, do you use directly in SL2 or format again in SL2?

I use "full format" option & then reformat again in camera.
