 And dicover a Roman city like this one, where so many people lived twenty centuries ago. Seen the theater, at left? Today - or at least when I took the picture, more than 50 years ago - the place is called Djemila. I could not get more information - or I forgot - about the ancient name.

Thank you so much, Ecar. Thanks to you, I spent much time in Google and Wikipedia. Thanks God, and maybe UNESCO (they really declared Cuicul-Djémila World Heritage), it seems that the site was more than protected and some photos show even "restaurations".

I found this photo taken so long ago by pure chance, and I identified the (new name of the) place thanks to my log book.
