Portsmouth "historic" dockyard - ships include HMS Warrior (first Ironclad, foreground), HMS Victory (Flag Ship of the Royal Navy, middle of yard), HMS Bristol (I think, l/h side) and HMS Ark Royal (carrier to left). In the distance (top right) you can just about make out HMS Endurance, the Antartic Survey vessel, differentiated by its red and white livery.

Missed these; I really like the last one; we've spent hours over the past 30 years hanging about in that area before getting the ferry over to France.

 

Strangely, I too met my wife in a pub, it was called The Old Cock.

I'm glad I came back to this. Earlier I could only see the first photo which is quite good. On return I see #2 & #3 which are excellent for their light, color, depth and clairty -- Espcially #3.
