Apologies that this is my first post, but curious if my early M9 (with original sensor) is showing the dreaded corrosion. Or is this something else? I used a sensor swab an ultra-pure water on it but didn't do a thing.

For some reason I thought corrosion was only on the periphery of the sensor.

Appreciate it,

Adam

Corrosion gets everywhere... This is how my M9P's sensor looks.

But I shoot f2 and below (until there'll be a confirmed and affordable repair available) where the picture is clean and I'm happy.

I love this thing (did I mention that I actually bought it like this?).

Prior to sending my camera to kolarvision, I was able to shoot F2 quite well in most conditions.  However when you are shooting with the sun in front of you (backlit) or any form of direct light.. you will see (corrosion artefacts) even at f/1.4. Definitely depends how you shoot I guess.

but thought I should mention that.
