I lost the front cap... 🙄 Yes luigi I eventually found a used macro-elmar with the old rangefinder-coupled adapter and I really like it, though the adapter is not easy to use, the DOF being so thin.. Best thing to do is close down an fstop or two. Then illumination becomes an issue, a rigid set up helps a lot, a copy stand is the best but a flexible tripod would work too. I have done literally thousands of documents over doing 30 years of medical photography. While in a reaseach facility I had a super rigid copystand, while working freelance I took some Polaroid MP3 parts and built a good setup. Hand holding a camera for documents is asking for trouble unless you just need quick photos and alignment doesn't matter. But if you want to display them, on line or for a client good alignment makes the difference between sloppy and presentable. A stable platform for a camera also make the work MUCH easier.
