rramesh Posted September 22, 2020 Author Share #3 Posted September 22, 2020 It's back now. Did nothing other than rotate camera in all directions. Does the M10-P have a funky accelerometer?
feelssadman Posted October 9, 2020 Share #4 Posted October 9, 2020 (edited) If you take the bottom plate off and remove the SD card you should see a slit. Insert a coin. It should work again afterwards. If not, you will have to transfer a small sum to a friend of mine in Nigeria. rramesh Posted December 18, 2020 Author Share #6 Posted December 18, 2020 (edited) This problem seems to be happening intermittently, especially when I replace a charged battery. Since the level gauge is dependent on the built-in accelerometer, maybe the latter is stuck. Any thoughts on how to fix this? Of course, a reset works, but it is a pain, to do it each time and to reload all profile settings.. Edited December 18, 2020 by rramesh
erniethemilk Posted December 18, 2020 Share #7 Posted December 18, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Have you got the level gauge switched on in the capture assistants menu option? I believe you can switch the display to show information in live view and this also displays or does not display the level gauge also.

Somehow the accelerometer gets stuck and a couple of resets and it is fixed. It's a technology perfected and implemented in most mobile phones, but it would seem that Leica is still grappling with it. Exodies Posted December 18, 2020 Share #9 Posted December 18, 2020 The level gauge on my M10-R is intermittent, by which I mean it doesn’t show on the live view display. Happens both with and without the visoflex.
