Me too. I never tried or mixed system lenses 😉. Maybe the Novoflex adapter is expensive, but if it gives me the option to change f/stop, it's a win. How can I do that with the G lens? Where do I control the aperture? 🤷‍♂️
Because I could buy a cheap one, as long as when I mount the lens, it automatically gives me the f/1.4 on both lenses, and I can use them only wide open. This is a very unknown world, so I don't know what I'm saying, just guessing.

I think you turn the blue ring. Fotodiox might have a similar adapter, but not sure how reliable they are.

I see. Smart. Expensive but effective. Do you think can be used for almost any kind of Nikon lenses? The mount is the same. Or having the blue ring could be dangerous for the AIS Nikkor?

They do make adapters for Nikon G glass that stops down the lens. I have one for a Tokina 11-16 I use on my CL, I have seen Nikon G to M also. The problem is you have no idea what fstop you are on as they just have increasingly more narrow circles. Also no click stops. For Nikon lenses I prefer AiS types. I am using a 20mm f2.8 Nikon AiS on my M3, and M8.

And for using the 50/1.4 AiS and the 58/1.4G, wide open only with M10 LV, do I need a Novoflex? Or does a couple of FotoDiox can solve it?

I have a Fotodiox for my G lens, Nikon G to L, but don't like it. Fotasy makes one, it will be $25 or so, so not a loss if it doesn't work for you. I have had success with Fotasy adapters, others have had problems, so just try it out.

Nikon 50s (and 35s) were why I used 85s and 28s on my Nikons instead.  

And, speaking as a photojournalist: the main reason that Nikkors were "mainstays" was that Nikon owned the institutional market for 30 years: AP, UPI, Reuters, the newspapers. Once a newspaper's editors and bean-counters bought into Nikon, everyone working there had to buy in also, for compatability. And Nikon (thanks to nudging from Joe Ehrenreich) did produce one heck of a system besides lenses - motors, backs, swappable viewfinders, etc. etc. Didn't matter that much if a couple of focal lengths were a bit weak.

But the 58mm 1.4 was characterful.

BTW, I am using a Urth adapter bought from Amazon.
