Ktsa5239 Posted August 28, 2020 Share #1 Posted August 28, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi guys, I'm late to the party with the 2.0 firmware upgrade, but today I finally got around to doing it. I've downloaded the file and placed it in my SD card, went to update firmware and confirmed its going to 2.0, it goes to a white screen with words saying "Turn camera off and on again" After I've restarted it, it stays on firmware 1.1 !? Does anyone know what the problem is? I've tried it several times even tried a different SD card and redownloaded the file but still the same. I seem to be stuck on 1.1 Whats going on? Thanks! wda Posted August 28, 2020 Share #2 Posted August 28, 2020 My guess is that your camera is not seeing the correct upgrade file in the root directory of your memory card. Recheck.
jaapv Posted August 29, 2020 Share #3 Posted August 29, 2020 Charge the battery to full and format the SD card . Follow the instructions to the letter. It only takes one minor deviation to have the update fail.
Ktsa5239 Posted August 29, 2020 Author Share #4 Posted August 29, 2020 Turns out using a slower SD card worked. I have no clue why .....
bat1959 Posted September 1, 2020 Share #5 Posted September 1, 2020 I keep an unused SD card marked FIRMWARE for my many Fujifilm upgrades. I don't know whether this applies to Leica but I format it in the camera before any firmware download. Anyone interested in a used X100V? as I"m now a proud Q2 owner.
