intangiblethings Posted August 14, 2020 Share #1  Posted August 14, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) I recently put my shutter into B mode as I was putting it away for the day. This is a new camera to me so I hadn't used it before. The camera itself was in great condition and hardly used when purchased. The next day, the dial was quite tight and now when I move it, it both wiggles and makes a much sharper clicking sound. Here's a video with sound: https://imgur.com/gallery/Wxkz5Vq Any insights on whether this is still an acceptable amount? If it sounds abnormal then I'd rather get the sound checked out. Thanks!

andrew01 Posted August 14, 2020 Share #2 Â Posted August 14, 2020 That looks like it needs service. Â Mine does not do that.
250swb Posted August 14, 2020 Share #3 Â Posted August 14, 2020 My instinct would be to see if the screw needs tightening before planning for a service.
