This is why the lens can not collapse further:

Oh, I see the problem: there's a black plastic plate and a green glass window in the way.  If you cut the black plastic plate and window out of the camera you'd be able to collapse your lens okay.  Let me know if you'd like to borrow a Dremmel tool. ^_^

Pete.

I think it is original. The serial number ends with 68, so I guess it was made In 1968.

Here it is wide open at 1 meter.

Hey everybody,

I recently got an a6000, and I want to get a fast normal lens for it, without making it too big. It looks like the leica m mount is the thinnest as far as adapting goes, so I was wondering if there’s any cheap lenses made for this mount, or if there’s another mount that can be adapted without being too big that would be better https://speedtest.vet/ https://vidmate.bid/ https://wordtopdf.ltd/.

Thanks!

Voigtlander 28 Ultron is fairly cheap (compared to Leica lenses) and mine is very good, Im not a huge wide angle fan, but I am always impressed when I use it.

I had trouble finding something reasonably cheap when looking for a wide lens, as i knew i wouldnt use it much. The only other thing i could find is the minolta 28 f2.8 M Rokkor for the CL/CLE - but that has issues with “white spots” and elements delaminating I decided the Voigtlander was a better deal for a little more money.

I am also interested in seeing how you find the 50 - it looks like an interesting lens.
