Sorry, just a joke. Lately, on any Leica users group or blog, I see more pictures of cameras than pictures taken by cameras. I see my Leica as a tool not as a luxury object I have to display,  engrave, put tape on, change skin or use colored refined accessories. I use my Leica M as it is and try to take the best pictures I can. Just this. I know sometimes I should shut up 😁

I prefer to show my pictures to people independently from the stuff I or they use, even if they don't use any. Not to a users group of a specific brand (if there isn't a spesific reason).

Anyway, my camera is a tool and much more: deeply used (under monsoons and desert storms), it's noticebly ruined. I bought it after I dreamt the M system for 12 years. I have my reasons if I want to personalise it, I hope you don't mind.

If you need to classify people into two categories (camera = tool OR luxury object) I can't help you. I'm not used to giudge others.

As I told, to me Laica it's simply a camera. I bought it and I use it. I don't mind to change it any way except to keep it clean and in good working order. Of course I don't judge nor classify people engraving their camera, covering it with tape or whatever. Mine was just a joke, a blague as French says. I'm not the first to play on this. I just find that strange, but maybe I'm wrong. Anyway I sincerely apologize if I offended somebody, it was not my intention.
