I learned this late Art Deco style is called „Streamline Moderne“. The upper floor was apparently undergoing a redecoration, but having no exhibits allows a good view of the architecture. North of the ferry terminal a couple of blocks is a post office from the same era with rather good murals filling the walls inside.
