Advertisement Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Hi haribo, Take a look here Noctilux on eBay. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
haribo Posted August 15, 2007 Author Share #2 Posted August 15, 2007 Just realizing, I might be complicating things for someone here who's already bidding on this auction. If this is the case, I apologize. Admin feel free to delete this post.
stunsworth Posted August 15, 2007 Share #3 Posted August 15, 2007 Hmmm, prices like that make me consider selling mine <grin>
AGeoJO Posted August 15, 2007 Share #4 Posted August 15, 2007 Hmm, actually there is a very, very good chance it will climb up to over $3K when the auction ends. For sure, it wouldn't surprise me with 5+ days to go....
stunsworth Posted August 15, 2007 Share #5 Posted August 15, 2007 As someone who has sold on eBay, I love it when two or three people start to try outbidding each other early on. There's nothing like a bit of bidding fever to cheer up a seller <grin>
marknorton Posted August 15, 2007 Share #6 Posted August 15, 2007 Why are all these people bidding so early? All that does is to drive up the price. I never bid before 10 seconds before the end of the auction.
stunsworth Posted August 15, 2007 Share #7 Posted August 15, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've not a clue Mark, doesn't make sense. The last minute (or as you say the last 10 seconds) is where the action is.
Guest Metroman Posted August 15, 2007 Share #8 Posted August 15, 2007 Why are all these people bidding so early? All that does is to drive up the price. I never bid before 10 seconds before the end of the auction. Mark they have probably set up the auto bidding to their maximum, can get quite frantic. newyorkone Posted August 15, 2007 Share #9 Posted August 15, 2007 IMHO, the Noctilux is priceless and with fairly certain speculation that production has stopped and Leica is just running through their stock, this lens is destined to be a true collector's item. I seriously doubt that I will ever sell mine. It also doesn't hurt that it takes amazing pictures...
dcoombs Posted August 15, 2007 Share #10 Posted August 15, 2007 If it's the one I think it is you can see that they've sold two others already this month. Must have a stash...
Eikonphoto Posted August 15, 2007 Share #11 Posted August 15, 2007 I have been thinking for some time that I may sell my Noctilux. As much as I love the look, it's never the lens I reach for. I will no longer work with ebay after being royally ripped off, so perhaps I 'll put it here in a few days. It's a '96 I think, in perfect shape. It's not coded, and I think could use a trip to get the focus adjusted slightly (have been putting this off given the backlog). PM me if you don't win the ebay one! BTW, Andy I love the photo of the actress .... Sutherland I think was last name ..... Bells of St. Trinians, or Miss Marple. Very cute. Off topic I know, sorry about that
