Theavidcollector Posted July 3, 2020 Share #1 Posted July 3, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello All, I am new to photography, and decided to take a punt on a very cheap Leica D-Lux 2 camera on ebay, I knew it had a problem when I purchased. The problem is in live view, there are different coloured vertical lines on the screen, the photos are absolutely perfect on viewing in the screen and on the computer, so I don’t see how it can be a sensor issue, as surely they would then be on the jpeg also? It’s just in live view. Can any of you more experienced people point me in the direction of what could be the problem, and more importantly is there anything viable I can do? I’m quite handy with electronics etc, so could perhaps change a part out if need be. At the moment the camera is perfectly useable, but wondered if it was the start of something failing completely. I’ve tried to capture the problem in the picture below. Welcome, dear visitor! Theavidcollector Posted July 5, 2020 Author Share #3 Posted July 5, 2020 Thanks yes, that’s what I probably will do I think. I’m really enjoying it so far. It’s a nice simple camera with not too much to bamboozle a newbie like myself. I’m taking pictures of everything 🙂
