rramesh Posted July 1, 2020 Share #1 Posted July 1, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have an issue and I was wondering if any of you might be able to help. Leica writes into this EXIF tag 'Leica:LensType' the specific lens model used. This only works for Leica lens where there is a lens profile set. So if the profile is set for a Summicron 28, the tag will read 'Leica Summicron-M 28mm f/2.0 ASPH'. Most third party viewers only pick up the lens model from tag 'ExifIFD:LensModel' and in its absence will only display the relevant focal length of the lens. This is the case for macOS Preview or Photos. This seems to be also the case for photo editing software like ON1. Not so for Lightroom. This is not ideal. Is there a quick way to globally set the ExifIFD:LensModel value to the Leica:LensType value?
