Good To Be Retired Posted June 20, 2020 Share #1 Â Posted June 20, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm having a small urge to try this out with an adapter, probably from Novaflex. Â So a couple of questions: 1). Is this a good idea to begin with or should I just forget it and move along? 2). I've used Novaflex adapters before and found them to be first class. Â Is there any substantive reason, other than having access to the lens profiles or putting information into the exif, to purchase the significantly more expensive Leica adapter? 3). Regarding the R lens cams, is one cam version more desirable in this application than another? Â Â

The Leica M-R adaptor has a detachable tripod mount to take the weight off the M-mount if used with heavy lenses.  3 hours ago, Good To Be Retired said: Regarding the R lens cams, is one cam version more desirable in this application than another? The R cams are irrelevant for this application. Pete.
