Why can't we see which photos were starred?

For many quick shooting applications, being able to review the images in-camera, star the promising ones, and then transfer the RAWs to a mobile device would be an efficient workflow.  Unfortunately there STILL isn't a way (I think?) to see in the FOTOS app which photos have been starred.  Previous Leica photo transfer apps before FOTOS had this basic feature.  Why did Leica not incorporate this simple feature into FOTOS, and can it be done in a future FOTOS update?

Is starring in camera implemented in all the product lines?  That's the only reason that I think of which might excuse not linking starring or grading on Fotos with doing the same in camera and saving it with the raw file for eventual use.
