Peters Posted June 10, 2020 Share #1  Posted June 10, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi guys,  I was wondering if anyone has tried using the CL with the full frame sigma glass, particularly the 85, 105, or 135? Crazy question I know, and I'm sure the handling sucks, but how's the autofocus?
Advertisement Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 Hi Peters, Take a look here CL / TL and full frame Sigma Art. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
gteague Posted June 10, 2020 Share #2  Posted June 10, 2020 (edited) the focusing on the cl, even with native lenses, is not blindingly fast but good enough if the subject isn't moving much. i've used the sigma 45/2.8 and 70/2.8 on my cl as well as the panasonic 16-35/4 and the 24-105/4 and the 70-200/4 lenses and, except for the 45, i can't tell any difference in focus speed. bear in mind i don't use afc though, just afs. as far as handing goes, the 45 is a compact lens not any bigger than the tl 23/2 and smaller than the 35/1.4. the 70 is a long lens due to macro, but it's fine on the cl. the 16-35 is ok, but is quite 'fat'. the last two i listed make the combo look ridiculous and you'll not be holding on to the actual camera when they're mounted. /guy Edited June 10, 2020 by gteague

Good thing there's another crazy photographer out there to guide me. Yes, I can imagine the handling to be quite strange and will have to be careful not to snap off the mount! But it is reassuring that the AF is reasonable! Would you mind sharing pictures? Would be particularly interested in your telephoto shots. Cheers.
