Pecole Posted June 7, 2020 Share #1 Posted June 7, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) When I used to spend long hours in the darkroom - I am frankly more comfortable sitting in front of my computer thanks to my digital Leica - I went to my elected shop to buy a Leitz (of course) easel. It happened that they did not have one in stock, and they proposed a (much cheaper) japanese product "that would perform exactly the same job". Since I needed it immediately, I bought it...and never changed it. It is only when I started collecting that I added - and never used - a METOO and a MKHOO to my "things"! And I just found back my old and faithful LPL 18x24 easel made in Japan, still with its original box. Welcome, dear visitor! This company was certainly ahead of its time. You should check reliable LEITZ sources, M.Hilo, like Dennis Laney's Leica Collector's Guide (2d edition) for example (pages 502-509-510).
