Spindrift at Traigh Rosamol, Isle of Harris.

The 90mm apo-summicron asph (safari) has become one of my favourite lenses, currently running equal with the 28mm summicron asph (safari).

I took my M6TTL, Visoflex III, Visoflex bellows II and a few lenses out to a local cactus garden in late December. These 3 are with the head of my c. 1966-ish (no serial number) 90/2 on the bellows (I have the appropriate ring, that also works with my 135/2.8). With the bellows, it can focus to infinity, and nearly to 1:1. If I re-assemble the lens, I can mount it with the appropriate ring on the bellows and get even more macro (I did a few shots with my 50/2.8 and CV 75/1.8 with the more extreme macro, but this thread is about 90mm lenses). Honestly, the optical Visoflex is a pain to use, it's not very bright, and mine has some splotches and whatnot. Still, I had some fun with it. Fuji Acros II film. Exposures (if you hover over, you'll see the file names, but they are in sequence):

Frame 17: f/4.5, 1/30

Frame 30: f/3.5, 1/250

Frame 36: f/2.8, 1/250

Does anyone else find that if you shoot film, and cut into strips of 6, the shots at the end of the strips, which are the most inconvenient to print or scan, are often the best?

Fortunately not a fire but seemingly a weird appearance of fire thanks to the wind of today.
